Known for it's exceptional marina and fortifications the town of Antibes lies on the Mediterranean coastline known as the Cote d'Azur or the French Riviera. Situated 14 miles west of the town of Nice, 33 miles west of the Italian border, 116 miles east of the city of Marseille and 568 miles south of the capital of Paris.
The towns land area covers 26,48 km². According to the 2005 census, more than 72 thousand people live here. Geographic coordinates are 43°34'51'' North by 7°7'26'' East.
Located in the Arrondissement of Grasse in the Department of the Alpes-Maritimes (06), itself in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote-d'Azur (PACA), its INSEE code is 06004 and postcodes are 06600 for Antibes and 06160 for Juan-les-Pins.
